Columbus, Ohio

October 27, 2009

These are just some of the photos from our trip to Columbus, Ohio for Tap University. The girls had a wonderful time dancing. Cooper broke yet another pair of tap shoes. Cymbre managed to do several classes even though her knee was quite sore. We all enjoyed being out of the heat and humidity of Houston! The girls are not used to seeing the trees turn colors, so we just really enjoyed driving around looking at all the leaves...sort of silly, but a treat we just don't get in Houston. Cooper found a road with her name, and Cymbre learned the Shim Sham....a traditional Tap national anthem. We saw the Columbus temple, and Caleb....it's not downtown like you told us. It's in a residential neighborhood....no tall buildings in sight. We found a Build A Bear Store in a mall, and the girls each made a bear....I made Dad one too. Some photos are here, and some will be in the next post. Enjoy!

A beautiful tree near the dance studio.

Cooper's Road

Cymbre's class....she's the one in black with the knee brace in the front row.
