Peace Shall Reign Yet Again!

Saturday, July 28, 2007

Well, the little men in white coats have not yet carted me off to the psychiatric ward, so I must still be at least a tiny bit sane! It must be a terrible thin thread though...I can see insanity just around the corner with all the dance company paperwork there is left to finish.

Some little beavers were recently seen in the dining room sorting candles, vases, and all kinds of polka dots! Those little slaves organized everything, packed it up, and then recruited the big guys to carry everything upstairs. We can finally see the dining room table after months and months! We can't however, say that for the floor in Shyla's old bedroom. Good thing she won't be needing it anymore!

However, we have discovered that we still live in a forest with all these trees that now need a home. Dad's tigers are having a ball...guess they like the forest look! Britni's room is actually turning into the rainforest with all the dense leafy things in there. Guests beware is all I can say!

The biggest miracle of all is that there isn't even one straight pin on the floor in the sewing room...I'm scared to walk in there because I might make a mess!

We have also finished celebrating Cymbre's birthday, with the party being yesterday. Now she has some new webkins to keep her old ones company, and life is good for her.

The dance floor upstairs will be getting a new workout this year with Cooper in 17 classes, and Cymbre is close to 14 I think, haven't counted hers yet. I must have gotten a raise since they will be at the studio more, and I will be there about the same amount. Worn out tap shoes have reported that they are wanting a hook on the wall. It seems they have heard some terrible rumors that the trashman was needing some tap shoes, and now they are hiding in the corner of the closet hoping Dad won't remember them on trash day.

The little girls finished one of their duets with Mr. Lenorris today...just have to finish up the arms. He finally had the music for them, so now the noise level upstairs increases a million fold.

They both have other duets that still need to be finished, and they will be working on them next week while the studio is closed for classes. The new classes will begin on August 6. What a birthday that will be! Several hundred parents and students all asking questions at once....I think I will take a headache pill before I even go to work that day.

Dad is preparing another long trip...I hope his suitcase has better luck this time. And I hope that nothing major happens at home. I hate these 3 week things! And school starts while he is gone...GREAT! There are always problems with something when school starts.

Well, I think I will put my sleepy eyes to bed on the couch...dad is already sawing logs.

Remember I love you.

Mom
